# Study.com vs ClasStars

The clearest difference is rating: ClasStars at 5.0 against Study.com's 4.2. ClasStars also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Study.com's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study.com sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ClasStars sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ClasStars holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study.com has 3.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Study.com ships an update every 2 months, ClasStars every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
