# Study.com vs FTCE Florida Teacher Exam Prep

Study.com and FTCE Florida Teacher Exam Prep both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FTCE Florida Teacher Exam Prep's written reviews are positive against 34% of Study.com's. Study.com's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study.com sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FTCE Florida Teacher Exam Prep sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study.com holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study.com has 3.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Study.com's written reviews are positive against 100% of FTCE Florida Teacher Exam Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Study.com ships an update every 2 months, FTCE Florida Teacher Exam Prep every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
