# Fish Counter vs HookedUp

The clearest difference is update cadence: HookedUp at every 3 weeks against Fish Counter's every 2 months. HookedUp also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fish Counter sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and HookedUp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fish Counter ships an update every 2 months, HookedUp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
