# RaceChrono Pro vs LapsHub

The clearest difference is price: LapsHub at Free against RaceChrono Pro's $19.99. LapsHub also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 57%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). RaceChrono Pro's advantage is ratings volume (184 vs 7) and chart position (#12 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

LapsHub is free to download; RaceChrono Pro costs $19.99 up front. RaceChrono Pro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and LapsHub sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LapsHub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RaceChrono Pro has 184 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of RaceChrono Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of LapsHub's.

RaceChrono Pro ships an update monthly, LapsHub every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
