# Private VPN Proxy vs Persian Calendar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Persian Calendar at none against Private VPN Proxy's 10. Persian Calendar also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Private VPN Proxy's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 3) and chart position (#84 vs unranked). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private VPN Proxy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Persian Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Persian Calendar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private VPN Proxy has 35K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Private VPN Proxy ships an update every 3 weeks, Persian Calendar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
