# PDF Voice Reader vs PDF Reader

The clearest difference is rating: PDF Reader at 5.0 against PDF Voice Reader's 4.1. PDF Reader also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (18.1 vs 26). PDF Voice Reader's advantage is ratings volume (955 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Voice Reader sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and PDF Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
