# Читать Книги Самиздат Samlib vs Аудиокниги

The clearest difference is monetization model: Читать Книги Самиздат Samlib at freemium against Аудиокниги's subscription. Читать Книги Самиздат Samlib also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Аудиокниги's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (951 vs 12). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Читать Книги Самиздат Samlib sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Аудиокниги sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Аудиокниги holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Аудиокниги has 951 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Читать Книги Самиздат Samlib's written reviews are positive against 70% of Аудиокниги's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Читать Книги Самиздат Samlib ships an update monthly, Аудиокниги every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
