# Tize vs Beat Maker

Tize and Beat Maker both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 53% of Tize's written reviews are positive against 39% of Beat Maker's. Tize also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 1.8K) and iOS requirement (13.6 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tize sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Beat Maker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Tize against 4.5 for Beat Maker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tize has 16K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of Tize's written reviews are positive against 39% of Beat Maker's.

Tize ships an update every 3 weeks, Beat Maker monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
