# BimmerCode vs VATA7

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VATA7 at 100% against BimmerCode's 59%. VATA7 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). BimmerCode's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 4) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BimmerCode sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. VATA7 asks for nothing beyond the download.

BimmerCode holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BimmerCode has 21K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of BimmerCode's written reviews are positive against 100% of VATA7's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BimmerCode ships an update every 2 months, VATA7 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and June 5, 2026 respectively.
