# BimmerCode vs Carbridge app

The clearest difference is ratings volume: BimmerCode at 21K against Carbridge app's 15. BimmerCode also leads on chart position (#79 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Carbridge app's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BimmerCode sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Carbridge app sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BimmerCode against 4.7 for Carbridge app. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BimmerCode has 21K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BimmerCode ships an update every 2 months, Carbridge app every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
