# Matahari App vs MASA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MASA at 100% against Matahari App's 10%. MASA also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Matahari App's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Matahari App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Matahari App's written reviews are positive against 100% of MASA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Matahari App ships an update monthly, MASA every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
