# InstaRabbi vs Otzar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Otzar at every 2 days against InstaRabbi's every 4 weeks. InstaRabbi's advantage is ratings volume (445 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for InstaRabbi against 5.0 for Otzar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InstaRabbi has 445 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of InstaRabbi's written reviews are positive against 100% of Otzar's.

InstaRabbi ships an update every 4 weeks, Otzar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
