# Skolaro vs Edunext Parent

The clearest difference is rating: Skolaro at 5.0 against Edunext Parent's 4.3. Edunext Parent's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 16%) and ratings volume (107 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skolaro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edunext Parent has 107 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Skolaro's written reviews are positive against 50% of Edunext Parent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skolaro ships an update every 3 weeks, Edunext Parent every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
