# Genius Jamtracks vs JAMMATES

The clearest difference is rating: Genius Jamtracks at 4.4 against JAMMATES's 3.8. Genius Jamtracks also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 28) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). JAMMATES's advantage is price ($15.99 vs $19.99) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Genius Jamtracks holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Genius Jamtracks has 182 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Genius Jamtracks's written reviews are positive against 65% of JAMMATES's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
