# SMARTank vs Grizzly

The clearest difference is rating: Grizzly at 5.0 against SMARTank's 2.6. Grizzly also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). SMARTank's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Grizzly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMARTank has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SMARTank ships an update every 3 months, Grizzly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
