# Bruster's vs Koy Restaurant

The clearest difference is ads: Koy Restaurant at none against Bruster's's shown. Koy Restaurant also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Bruster's's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Koy Restaurant holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bruster's has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bruster's ships an update every 5 months, Koy Restaurant every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
