# Citadel Team vs KAYO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KAYO at 100% against Citadel Team's 51%. KAYO also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.6) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Citadel Team's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KAYO holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Citadel Team has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Citadel Team's written reviews are positive against 100% of KAYO's.

Citadel Team ships an update every 2 months, KAYO monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
