# HP Sprocket vs AttendLive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AttendLive at 89% against HP Sprocket's 43%. HP Sprocket's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AttendLive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $64.99 per year. HP Sprocket asks for nothing beyond the download.

HP Sprocket holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HP Sprocket has 65K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of HP Sprocket's written reviews are positive against 89% of AttendLive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HP Sprocket ships an update every 3 weeks, AttendLive every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
