# Anthem Remote vs XP Lite

The clearest difference is update cadence: XP Lite at every 3 weeks against Anthem Remote's every 6 months. Anthem Remote's advantage is ratings volume (152 vs 14) and review sentiment (26% vs 17%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.3 for Anthem Remote against 2.2 for XP Lite. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anthem Remote has 152 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 26% of Anthem Remote's written reviews are positive against 17% of XP Lite's.

Anthem Remote ships an update every 6 months, XP Lite every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
