# PEZ Play vs RÚV

The clearest difference is rating: RÚV at 4.3 against PEZ Play's 3.7. RÚV also leads on ratings volume (227 vs 26) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). PEZ Play's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 29%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RÚV holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RÚV has 227 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of PEZ Play's written reviews are positive against 29% of RÚV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PEZ Play ships an update every 2 months, RÚV monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
