# END. vs Taranis

END. and Taranis both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Taranis's written reviews are positive against 56% of END.'s. Taranis also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). END.'s advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for END. against 5.0 for Taranis. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: END. has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of END.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Taranis's.

END. ships an update every 8 days, Taranis weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
