# END. vs Mercier

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mercier at 100% against END.'s 56%. Mercier also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). END.'s advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

END. holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: END. has 25K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of END.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Mercier's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

END. ships an update every 8 days, Mercier every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
