# DataScope Forms vs DropControl

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DataScope Forms at 83% against DropControl's 0%. DataScope Forms also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). DropControl's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.5) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DropControl holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of DataScope Forms's written reviews are positive against 0% of DropControl's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DataScope Forms ships an update every 5 days, DropControl every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
