# Lintrix vs OLDTV

The clearest difference is price: OLDTV at Free against Lintrix's $0.99. OLDTV also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (350 vs 5). Lintrix's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

OLDTV is free to download; Lintrix costs $0.99 up front. OLDTV sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Lintrix asks for nothing beyond the download.

OLDTV holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OLDTV has 350 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Lintrix's written reviews are positive against 70% of OLDTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lintrix ships an update every 3 months, OLDTV every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
