# QDating vs Live Chat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Live Chat at none against QDating's 2. Live Chat also leads on rating (3.5 vs 3.1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). QDating's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (60% vs 40%). On price, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QDating sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Live Chat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Live Chat holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 150 and 132 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of QDating's written reviews are positive against 40% of Live Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QDating ships an update monthly, Live Chat every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
