# Sunrise Simulator vs Sky Smart Home

The clearest difference is price: Sky Smart Home at Free against Sunrise Simulator's $4.99. Sky Smart Home also leads on rating (4.0 vs 1.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Sky Smart Home is free to download; Sunrise Simulator costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sky Smart Home holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Sunrise Simulator's written reviews are positive against 13% of Sky Smart Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
