# MyRemote vs Avantis4You

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Avantis4You at 100% against MyRemote's 40%. MyRemote's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyRemote holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of MyRemote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Avantis4You's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
