# Fly Mind Free vs HotNotes

The clearest difference is rating: HotNotes at 3.5 against Fly Mind Free's 2.5. Fly Mind Free's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 28 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HotNotes holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 6 respectively.
