# Nomorobo vs Trend Micro ScamCheck

Nomorobo and Trend Micro ScamCheck both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 42% of Trend Micro ScamCheck's written reviews are positive against 17% of Nomorobo's. Nomorobo's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 2.4K) and chart position (#115 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nomorobo sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Trend Micro ScamCheck sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Nomorobo against 4.6 for Trend Micro ScamCheck. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nomorobo has 22K ratings behind it against 2.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 17% of Nomorobo's written reviews are positive against 42% of Trend Micro ScamCheck's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
