# ACT Fibernet vs COOX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: COOX at 51% against ACT Fibernet's 20%. COOX also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ACT Fibernet's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 11) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COOX holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ACT Fibernet has 4K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of ACT Fibernet's written reviews are positive against 51% of COOX's.

ACT Fibernet ships an update every 5 weeks, COOX every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
