# Eco Cast® vs AFM26

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Eco Cast® at 100% against AFM26's 50%. Eco Cast® also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). AFM26's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AFM26 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Eco Cast®'s written reviews are positive against 50% of AFM26's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eco Cast® ships an update every 7 months, AFM26 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
