# AeraForHome vs HydroCity

The clearest difference is monetization model: HydroCity at free against AeraForHome's free with in-app purchases. HydroCity also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). AeraForHome's advantage is ratings volume (5.4K vs 4) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HydroCity holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AeraForHome has 5.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
