# Burrito Bison vs Archero

Burrito Bison and Archero both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Burrito Bison's written reviews are positive against 45% of Archero's. Burrito Bison also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Archero's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Burrito Bison sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Archero sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Burrito Bison against 4.7 for Archero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Archero has 470K ratings behind it against 49K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Burrito Bison's written reviews are positive against 45% of Archero's.

Burrito Bison ships an update every 2 months, Archero every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
