# aa Pro vs Brain Test 5

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: aa Pro at none against Brain Test 5's 12. aa Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 13.0). Brain Test 5's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Test 5 sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. aa Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Brain Test 5 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain Test 5 has 2.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of aa Pro's written reviews are positive against 43% of Brain Test 5's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

aa Pro ships an update fortnightly, Brain Test 5 monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
