# Score Up vs Bracket Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Score Up at 61% against Bracket Maker's 0%. Score Up also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.2). Bracket Maker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Score Up sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Bracket Maker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bracket Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 129 and 84 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Score Up's written reviews are positive against 0% of Bracket Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
