# Mi Beca vs UNAD

The clearest difference is rating: UNAD at 4.7 against Mi Beca's 2.5. UNAD also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (70 vs 6). Mi Beca's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 0%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mi Beca sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. UNAD asks for nothing beyond the download.

UNAD holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UNAD has 70 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Mi Beca's written reviews are positive against 0% of UNAD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mi Beca ships an update monthly, UNAD every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
