# Note To Self Mail vs EmailMe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note To Self Mail at every 6 weeks against EmailMe's every 13 months. Note To Self Mail also leads on ratings volume (377 vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). EmailMe's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note To Self Mail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and EmailMe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note To Self Mail holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note To Self Mail has 377 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Note To Self Mail's written reviews are positive against 100% of EmailMe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Note To Self Mail ships an update every 6 weeks, EmailMe every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
