# Afficient Progress vs LingoAce Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: LingoAce Connect at every 3 weeks against Afficient Progress's every 3 months. LingoAce Connect also leads on ratings volume (204 vs 11) and rating (3.7 vs 3.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LingoAce Connect holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoAce Connect has 204 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Afficient Progress's written reviews are positive against 46% of LingoAce Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Afficient Progress ships an update every 3 months, LingoAce Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
