# Swarajya vs DDIndia

The clearest difference is rating: DDIndia at 3.7 against Swarajya's 2.9. DDIndia also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6). Swarajya's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 25%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swarajya sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. DDIndia asks for nothing beyond the download.

DDIndia holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Swarajya's written reviews are positive against 25% of DDIndia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swarajya ships an update every 6 weeks, DDIndia every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
