The clearest difference is price: Dare the Monkey at Free against Stacks's $0.49. Dare the Monkey also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (16K vs 1). Stacks's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and ads (none vs shown).

Dare the Monkey is free to download; Stacks costs $0.49 up front. Dare the Monkey sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Stacks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dare the Monkey holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dare the Monkey has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Dare the Monkey's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stacks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
