# BP vs JLB

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BP at none against JLB's 1. BP also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 13.0). JLB's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JLB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BP asks for nothing beyond the download.

BP ships an update every 4 months, JLB every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
