# Infuse vs iTVShows

The clearest difference is rating: Infuse at 4.7 against iTVShows's 1.0. Infuse also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). iTVShows's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (83% vs 60%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infuse sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. iTVShows asks for nothing beyond the download.

Infuse holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infuse has 28K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Infuse's written reviews are positive against 83% of iTVShows's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Infuse ships an update fortnightly, iTVShows every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
