# Infuse vs SenPlayer

Infuse and SenPlayer both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 84% of SenPlayer's written reviews are positive against 60% of Infuse's. SenPlayer also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). Infuse's advantage is ratings volume (29K vs 1.2K) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infuse sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SenPlayer sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Infuse against 4.7 for SenPlayer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infuse has 29K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Infuse's written reviews are positive against 84% of SenPlayer's.

Infuse ships an update fortnightly, SenPlayer every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
