# 口袋魔方 vs CubeNook

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CubeNook at 89% against 口袋魔方's 43%. CubeNook also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (22 vs 3). 口袋魔方's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 口袋魔方 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. CubeNook asks for nothing beyond the download.

口袋魔方 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CubeNook has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of 口袋魔方's written reviews are positive against 89% of CubeNook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

口袋魔方 ships an update every 2 weeks, CubeNook every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
