# 口袋魔方 vs Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch

The clearest difference is rating: 口袋魔方 at 5.0 against Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch's 4.5. 口袋魔方 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 口袋魔方 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

口袋魔方 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch has 2.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of 口袋魔方's written reviews are positive against 55% of Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

口袋魔方 ships an update every 2 weeks, Rubiks Cube Speed Stopwatch monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
