# UpMap vs MotoGP™

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: UpMap at none against MotoGP™'s 10. UpMap also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (43% vs 33%). MotoGP™'s advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 8). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MotoGP™ sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. UpMap asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for UpMap against 4.0 for MotoGP™. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MotoGP™ has 3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of UpMap's written reviews are positive against 33% of MotoGP™'s.

UpMap ships an update every 3 months, MotoGP™ every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
