# Minphuin vs Vii

The clearest difference is ads: Minphuin at none against Vii's shown. Minphuin also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Vii's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Minphuin against 5.0 for Vii. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minphuin has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Minphuin ships an update every 3 weeks, Vii every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
