# Charm Candy vs Happy Ring

The clearest difference is rating: Charm Candy at 4.7 against Happy Ring's 1.0. Charm Candy also leads on ratings volume (60 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Happy Ring's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Charm Candy sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Happy Ring sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Charm Candy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Charm Candy has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Charm Candy ships an update every 4 months, Happy Ring every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
