# TimeTracker vs Alice

The clearest difference is rating: Alice at 4.8 against TimeTracker's 2.5. Alice also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 50%) and ratings volume (3K vs 2). TimeTracker's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alice holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alice has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of TimeTracker's written reviews are positive against 76% of Alice's.

TimeTracker ships an update fortnightly, Alice every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
