# Jahez vs Calo

Jahez and Calo both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 52% of Calo's written reviews are positive against 18% of Jahez's. Jahez's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (86K vs 1.7K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Jahez against 4.7 for Calo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jahez has 86K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 18% of Jahez's written reviews are positive against 52% of Calo's.

Jahez ships an update weekly, Calo every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
